Any local, regional authority or other non-territorial organization can submit the application for membership to the RETECORK Executive Committee.

In the case of municipalities, it must be approved through the Plenary of the City Council, where it must be explicitly stated that the executive agrees to join the municipality to the Network, facing the annual fee established by the statutes and that is governed by the number of inhabitants. Likewise, it is necessary to delegate a contact person for various procedures.

The entities or organizations must follow the same procedure, but in this case, it will be agreed through their Administrative Council or, ultimately, the managing body.

Once the agreement is available, new adhesions will be subject to the approval of the annual General Assembly.

RETECORK brings together territories with a shared identity, united by a common landscape shaped by cork. Rooted in their local heritage, its members work together to strengthen their territories and create a positive impact across Europe by promoting multilevel governance, interregional cooperation, and the sustainable development of cork-producing territories.
